This article describes the construction of a set of European Union EU economic globalisation indicators. It presents results for the selected indicators, illustrating the type of information which could be used to track the different aspects of globalisation. Finally, it sketches the background to the project and the reasons for developing this new set of indicators, putting the project in the context of other work done in this area.
